About Me

*IATSE 873 Member (Makeup Artistry)*

I started learning about makeup artistry when I was 13 years old. I volunteered at a spa after school because I was interested in the industry and all things beauty. The owner who specialized in makeup artistry took me under her wing and I became her apprentice. From there I started working on local films and television shows in St. John's, it eventually led to my own company and I now do a full range of work from beauty clients to special effects.

I studied special effects and HD makeup in Toronto in 2013, bridal hair design in Toronto in 2014 and Advanced Special Effects and Prosthetics at George Brown College in Toronto in 2015. I now take clients and freelance work in both Toronto, Ontario and St. John's, Newfoundland. I am currently a union member for makeup artistry in the Newfoundland IATSE 709 and IATSE 873 in Toronto.

I love meeting new people and making clients feel beautiful, its the best part of the job. I find that sometimes the right makeup techniques can really, truly change someones life. I enjoy helping people and I love the feeling of taking care of my clients.
